One coin, several networks
USDT does not live on a single blockchain. The same coin exists on several networks, each with its own addresses, its own fees and its own pace:

Notice that ERC-20 and BEP-20 addresses look the same: both start with “0x”. An address that looks right does not guarantee it is on the right network. That is where most losses come from.
The iron rule: the same network
When you deposit USDT at a casino, the cashier asks you to pick the network and only then shows the address. When you withdraw from an exchange, the same applies: pick the coin, pick the network, paste the address.
The two choices must match. TRC-20 USDT sent to an ERC-20 address does not arrive. At best the casino can recover it after a support request, usually for a fee. At worst the amount is lost.
Three habits that prevent it:
- Pick the network at the casino first, then on the exchange, not the other way round.
- Make a small test deposit at every new casino or on every new network.
- Do not reuse old addresses. Take the address from the cashier every time.

What a USDT deposit costs
The fee has two parts. The first is the exchange's withdrawal fee, which you see before confirming. The second is the network fee. On TRC-20, BEP-20 and Solana it is low; on ERC-20 it can be several dollars or more when Ethereum is busy.
On a 20 USDT deposit, a 5 USDT fee on ERC-20 is a quarter of the money. On TRC-20 the same deposit costs a fraction of that. That is why, for small amounts, the network matters more than the casino.
Withdrawing in USDT
On withdrawal, the casino sends USDT on the network you choose. Check two things:
- Your address accepts that network. The USDT deposit address on your exchange is different for TRC-20 and for ERC-20.
- The cap and the document threshold. These are the same rules as for any coin. Rocketpot publishes 5,000 USD per month and documents from 2,500 USD; Vave pays amounts from 50,000 USDT in equal instalments.
Once USDT reaches the exchange, you sell it for your own currency and withdraw it to your bank account under the exchange's rules.

What USDT does not do
USDT does not make the games cheaper. The house edge is the same in any coin. Nor is it risk-free: its value depends on the issuer, and on rare occasions it has briefly drifted from one dollar. For a casino balance held a few days the risk is small; for long-term savings it is not a bank account.
