How is the 0 to 5 rating calculated?

From seven criteria: an active licence, verification rules explained, a published document threshold, a published list of excluded countries, at least eight coins, at least 40 providers and at least four game types. Plus half a point for operators where we used a real account. Everything is rounded to halves, with a maximum of 5.

Do casinos pay for a higher rating?

No. Vave is our partner and sits first by agreement, but it is kept outside the formula. The other operators are ordered strictly by rating.

Have you played at every casino?

No. We used real money only at Vave (withdrawals paid on 28.08 and 02.09.2026) and at TrustDice (registration and cashier steps, May 2026). The other ratings rest on the operators' published terms.

How often do you update the ranking?

When an operator's terms or licence status change, and at least once a month. The date of the last update is shown at the top of every page.

The 0 to 5 rating in the ranking is not an impression and it is not for sale. It adds up facts you can check yourself in each operator's terms. Here is the full formula with every threshold, what stays out of the rating and how the desk works.

A casino ranking is only useful if you know how it was made. This page sets out the full formula we use to rate the crypto casinos on the site, what we checked ourselves with real money and what we did not, and how we handle our partner.

The rating formula

Each operator earns points for facts anyone can check, in its terms or in the licensing authority's register. The points are added up, the total is rounded to the nearest half point, and the maximum is 5.

Why these criteria: they are the things that decide what happens to your money. A licence you can verify tells you who is responsible. Clear verification rules and a written threshold tell you in advance when you may be asked for documents. A published country list shows the operator stands behind where it takes players. Coins, providers and game types say how complete the casino is.

What stays out of the rating

The bonus. A big percentage in a banner earns no points. Bonuses change often, and their real value depends on the wagering and on how you play; we cover them separately in crypto casino bonuses.

Payout speed. We do not state how long a withdrawal takes at any operator. The time depends on each request, the network and any verification, and a published figure would be a promise we cannot keep.

Design and general impression. A reader cannot check them, so they stay out of the formula.

The withdrawal cap. We print it next to each operator, because it is one of the most useful facts, but we do not score it: a low cap is a problem for a high-stakes player and no problem at all for a small-stakes one.

What we tested with real money

Two operators, and only two:

Vave: account opened, crypto deposit, play, two withdrawals paid on 28 August and 2 September 2026, no documents requested. Details in the Vave review.

For the other operators we do not claim to have played. Their ratings rest on published terms, which we read on their own sites. The screenshots on the site were taken by us from the operators' public pages.

Which operators make the ranking

An operator enters the list if:

its terms are public and we have read them recently, on the live site;
it runs a cryptocurrency cashier, with deposits and withdrawals;
its published list of excluded countries does not name Romania.

An operator leaves the list if its licence expires without renewal, if its terms can no longer be read or if it adds Romania to its excluded countries.

Facts that can no longer be confirmed on the operator's site are not published. That is why we do not show a licence for TrustDice, even though we used a real account there.
